CORPORATE LAWYER

URS is a publicly listed company with around 50,000 employees in 34 countries, and in the Asia Pacific region, over 1,500 employees in offices located in Australia, New Zealand, China, Singapore and Indonesia.Working as part of the Asia Pacific legal team the Corporate Lawyer will be responsible for the review and negotiation of a range of commercial contracts and provide general legal advice on various matters.
Reporting to Regional Legal Counsel your responsibilities will include:
• Negotiating, drafting and reviewing a variety of contracts and commercial agreements; and
• Providing general legal advice on a range of contractual matters, with a commercial focus particularly relating to commercial law, environment law, employment law and intellectual property matters.
• Providing training to professionals in the Asia-Pacific offices on legal and risk management issues.
You will have minimum five years post qualification experience gained in either a law firm or in-house. Experience in environmental law or construction law is not essential, but would be well regarded.
