Allen & Overy has rehired M&A lawyer Jamie Palmer, who left the firm two years ago to join the DibbsBarker partnership.
Mr Palmer has joined A&O’s corporate practice as a partner in Sydney. Before he accepted a partner role at DibbsBarker in 2013, he was a senior associate at A&O for three-and-a-half years.

Mr Palmer was the first senior associate A&O hired when the firm opened its doors in Sydney in 2010.
Sydney A&O partner Aaron Kenavan said the firm’s global corporate practice is a strategic priority for the business.
“Jamie’s return is an important part of our investment plans.”
In April, A&O lost M&A partner Grant Koch, who had been leading the firm’s Australian private equity section, to DLA Piper in the same role.
