Fulcrum Media Finance has lost corporate counsel Mike Adams, who has taken on directorship of financial services and media law firm Barnett Law.
Mr Adams (pictured) took on the director’s position after more than six years with the Sydney-based film and finance company and its related production entity, saying that he outgrew his previous role “coupled with changing business conditions”.

Mr Adams has over 16 years’ experience practising in both the commercial and private client sectors. He has worked in entertainment, film and television, project finance, debt and equity finance and securities law.
As corporate counsel for Fulcrum, Mr Adams worked on over 100 film and television productions, primarily Australian and New Zealand films and international co-productions. As part of that work he was responsible for restructuring and documenting back-end funding arrangements and negotiating and closing front-end debt finance transactions.
He previously worked for See-Saw Films, providing legal services and managing the transactional business and legal requirements of its group of companies. He also held a number of in-house legal counsel roles in the UK from 2004 to 2006.
