King & Wood Mallesons has announced it has appointed a new special counsel to its Sydney M&A practice.
Matt Egerton-Warburton (pictured) brings with him extensive experience both in Australia and overseas, advising on international acquisitions and disposals.

He has also advised on a number of joint ventures across a wide range of industry sectors, including financial services, technology, insurance, energy and resources, agribusiness, media and telecommunications.
Mr Egerton-Warburton joins KWM Sydney from Withersworldwide, where he was a partner in the firm’s corporate and commercial group in Hong Kong. Prior to this, he was employed as a counsel by KWM Hong Kong.
