A national law firm has announced it has nabbed a partner, special counsel, senior associate and lawyer from Squire Patton Boggs.
Hall & Wilcox has revealed it has expanded its Perth office by appointing employment partner Kylie Groves (pictured), as well as special counsel Felicity Clarke, senior associate Jillian Howard and lawyer Emily Tan.
Ms Groves brings to her new role significant expertise in employment, workplace relations, occupational health and safety, and discrimination law.
Throughout her career, she has specialised on the management of ill and injured employees, enterprise bargaining and agreement making, and ensuring compliance with workplace laws.
Ms Clarke brings over 12 years’ experience specialising in labour and employment law and regularly advises clients in relation to the defence of prosecutions under occupational health and safety laws.
Ms Howard has experience in advising businesses and public sector clients on a broad range of labour and employment matters. She specialises in discrimination issues, having provided strategic advice in relation to organisation change and the conduct of large scale restructuring matters.
Hall & Wilcox managing partner Tony Macvean said the team of four will be a huge complement to the firm’s employment practice based in Perth.
“Our ambition for Perth has always been to develop a full-service capability across a number of practice areas, including employment, litigation, insolvency and commercial,” he said.
“Kylie and her team are excellent lawyers who are highly respected by their clients and strongly align with our culture.”
