According to recent newspaper reports, Allens Arthur Robinson’s Melbourne office is in negotiations to lease a 13,000 square metres space in APN's proposed office tower development at 567 Collins Street.

Allen’s spokesperson denied that an agreement had been reached. “The article in The Australian was quite speculative, we haven’t signed an agreement, we haven’t finalized a contract at all,” he said. However, market speculation tips Allens to finalise the agreement in the next week.

The site is planning approved, with construction slated to commence in the 1st quarter of 2008. Long term leases (10 years plus) are currently advertised by Colliers International real estate agency from $380-425 psm/pa GST (exclusive).

Allens already occupies a space of similar size at the 530 Collins Street Stock Exchange Centre, barely one hundred meters away from the APN development which will be completed in 2010.
