CORRS CHAMBERS WESTGARTH has bolstered its mergers and acquisitions and commercial litigation capacity following the appointment of two new partners, Byron Koster and Simon Crawford.
Koster, who has joined the firm’s corporate advisory team in Sydney, is an expert in regulated and negotiated mergers and acquisitions and securities law, and a member of the Takeovers Panel. He has moved across to Corrs from Bake Dawson, where he was a partner since 2001.
Crawford joins the firm’s litigation team in Melbourne with more than 13 years experience in dispute resolution. He will also take on the boarder role of expanding opportunities in Corrs’ structured finance and institutional banking practices.
Crawford previously headed up the legal function of ANZ’s institutional division, where he managed many of ANZ’s largest litigious exposures over the past seven years. He has experience managing large litigation overseas, particularly in India.
