The demand for in-house lawyers is looking strong in 2010, according to the latest Taylor Root In-house Commerce and Industry Market Survey

A dramatic increase in the number of workplace bullying incidents has been blamed on the pressures and tension arising from the global downturn.According to high performance coach and strategic workplace man­agement expert, Tony Wilson, Australian workers are suffering more than ever before, with increased levels of stress, frustration, anxiety and anger. He said that the stress of the recession has impacted how work­ers manage their emotions.

Employers must wake up to the fact that workplace bullying is be­coming one of Australia's major so­cial issues and could be adverse­ly affecting the health of thousands of employees.

The outlook for employment in 2010 is already looking positive with total employment in the Australian economy reaching a record 11 million in Feb­ruary and total job advertisements continuing to increase since February.
