The week-long course, which covers skills, techniques and practice in mediation, includes nine lawyers from Australia, south-east Asia and Africa. An additional accreditation day will also be offered on 1 November.
AIDC chief executive officer Michelle Sindler, a trained mediator herself, told Lawyers Weekly that since opening in August, the Centre has provided a forum for local and international mediation.
Places are still available for the mediation training course in February, May and August 2011.
The cost is $2975, with discounts available for group bookings. The accreditation day costs $595.
