The most senior appointees include Nick Prove, who has been promoted to partner in the property team in Brisbane, and Alison Crawford, who is now special counsel in Adelaide’s dispute resolution team.

The promotions add depth to the Pipers team, which has recently seen the lateral hires of Lexia Wilson in property, Richard Chew in IT and Jacquie Browning in banking and finance.

“We are very proud that many of those we have promoted started as part of our Graduate Program. Today’s promotions demonstrate the firm’s genuine dedication to growing, supporting and nurturing our people,” said the firm’s managing partner, Tony Phelps.

Four senior associates were promoted in the dispute resolution team: Valerie Blacker in Brisbane, Maurice Lynch in Sydney and James Nunn and Brooke Willshire in Adelaide.
