Atanaskovic Hartnell has appointed two new partners to the firm.

The internal promotions are in mergers and acquisitions as well as litigation and dispute resolution.

In Sydney, Shane Anderton joins the partnership.  The firm said Anderton has been with AH for four years and specialises in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, public and administrative law, judicial review, statutory appeals, and disputes with sector regulators.

Prior to joining AH, he practised public law at the UK Treasury Solicitor’s office as a commercial litigation lawyer, also at Herbert Smith in London, and before that at Bell Gully in Wellington.

Jon Skene joins from the firm’s London office, and is to continue his practice in that office.

Before joining AH, Skene practised at top tier London firm Herbert Smith for six years, and before that at Clayton Utz in Sydney.

Apart from listed and private M&A transactions in the UK and Australia, Skene’s experience has been in the formation and operation of joint ventures, capital markets and securities law (including advice on London Stock Exchange, AIM and ASX listings), private equity, corporate governance and general corporate advisory matters.
