One of Queensland’s largest law firms has announced a raft of promotions in-house.

One of Queensland’s largest law firms has announced a raft of promotions in-house.

McInnes Wilson Lawyers, one of the largest Queensland-based firms, has appointed two new principals, a senior associate and five associates in a string of new-year promotions.

Paul Tully, practice chairman, confirmed senior associate and Southport office manager, Jacqui Eager has been promoted to principal. Eager joined the team in 2005 and has experience in civil litigation and has a special interest in issues arising from unlawful deaths and fatalities.

“Jacqui has been the main driver of the growth of the Southport Office which has doubled in size since [she] was appointed manager of the office. [She] continues to be the main driver in its growth, with new, larger premises to be secured shortly to cater for this expansion”, Tully said.

Carl Moseling, a senior associate in the firm's Maroochydore insurance practice, will also be promoted to principal. He joined the firm in 2005 and has experience in personal injury and insurance litigation, including the applicable schemes of legislation and their respective interactions.

Chris Hargreaves, who joined the firm’s corporate recovery and dispute resolution team last year as an associate, will be promoted to senior associate. He has experience in general litigation and insolvency, including debt and asset recovery.

Other associate appointments at McInnes Wilson Lawyers include Brendan McGrath Anthea Faherty, Nina Lamprell, Charles Lowe and Daniel Lavercombe.
