A lawyer who left DibbsBarker last year has returned to the firm, citing the firm’s clear focus as her reason to come back.

DibbsBarker has appointed Rosan Santangelo as a special counsel in the insurance group, after she left the firm in February last year to join Lee and Lyons lawyers. Rosan was a senior associate at DibbsBarker from January 2008 until her departure.

Rosan has experience in risk management, commercial dispute resolution, life insurance, professional indemnity and product and public liability insurance litigation.

Since admission in 1999, Rosan has worked to deliver solutions for a range of insurers and commercial clients. Rosan also holds a CSA Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance and is a Notary Public.

DibbsBarker’s insurance industry group leader, Brett Solomon explained Rosan’s reappointment saying she has the relevant legal skills and industry knowledge to provide meaningful solutions to clients in this area

Rosan herself said it is “wonderful” to be back at DibbsBarker and to be again working with the insurance group.

“One of the reasons I was attracted back to the firm was the group’s clear focus and understanding of both its clients’ commercial and insurance needs. I look forward to applying my experience and industry knowledge to assist the Group in its continued growth,” she said.
