Scott Wedgwood has joined Brisbane firm Barry.Nilsson.Lawyers as a partner.
Wedgwood will start with the firm on 8 October and his appointment will bring the partnership count to 12.

He will work alongside managing partner Don Leembruggen and Geoff Sinclair in the firm’s large family law team.
An experienced family lawyer, Wedgwood comes to the firm after spending five years working for Woollam Constructions in senior management roles.
He said he is looking forward to starting work as a lawyer again after gaining valuable business management skills away from a law firm.
“Working in an industry such as construction during the GFC has taught me valuable management skills. I’m looking forward to putting those skills to work in a highly-respected firm such as Barry.Nilsson.,” said Wedgwood.
Prior to his role in construction, Wedgwood was a partner at McCullough Robertson in Brisbane. He left that role in 2007.
