Karasavidis, who has recently returned to Australia from the UK, brings with her almost 20 years' experience in infrastructure, project finance and energy projects. She joins Maddocks from global firm White & Case.

Karasavidis has been involved in many complex projects and has extensive experience in PPPs and infrastructure concessions. She has advised public and private clients in a variety of sectors in the UK, Europe, Australia, Middle East and Africa.

According to Karasavidis: "Maddocks provides the perfect opportunity to build upon existing relationships with international contractors and operators, many of whom have a presence in Australia, and to use my substantial experience in UK government and emerging market projects for the benefit of Maddocks’ government clients.
