DibbsBarker has appointed Anna Feros as a partner in the Brisbane office.

Ms Feros (pictured) was previously based in the UK as the leading partner for Shepherd and Wedderburn’s media and technology practice.

Originally from Brisbane, Ms Feros has experience in general commercial, intellectual property, life sciences and technology matters.

During her career she has worked at King & Wood Mallesons and as an associate in the Federal Court of Australia. She was also the director of intellectual property commercialisation for the Queensland Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries (now Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry).

She has also worked with global drinks giant Pernod Ricard, MedImmune (the global biologics research and development arm of AstraZeneca), Cambridge University and COLT Telecommunications.

“I am very pleased to be coming home to join DibbsBarker,” said Ms Feros. “The firm is investing in building its capability in Queensland with a clear focus on the life sciences and healthcare industries, and agribusiness which I find exciting. I feel my background and skillset will fit perfectly and I look forward to joining the team.”

The firm has made 12 partner and special counsel appointments in the last year. Ms Feros is the fourth senior recruit in the commercial and intellectual property space in Brisbane in the last six months.
