Australian firm RB Flinders has appointed estate planning expert David Patkin as its new wills and estates principal.
Mr Patkin joins the estate planning team of the commercial firm based in Melbourne, moving from his in-house role as estate planning lawyer with ANZ Private Wealth.

He has more than 11 years’ in-house and private practice experience and is “part of the continued growth and expansion of [RB Flinders’] private wealth service offering”. He has also worked in-house for NAB Private Wealth.
According to a statement issued by RB Flinders, Mr Patkin is looking forward to returning to private practice.
“David brings with him a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of estate planning, administration and trustee arrangements, servicing predominantly affluent, high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients for a range of matters including succession of related corporates, SMSFs and trust structures,” the release read.
“David is looking forward to returning to private practice, joining us in mid-April and working with our clients and stakeholders alike to further develop and grow our estate planning practice."
