Mr Morris, who specialises in commercial litigation, construction and engineering, has been working as a senior associate in the firm’s Perth office since 2014. He previously worked as a legal officer for the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and is a former associate of Havilah Legal.
Mr Morris completed his legal studies at Macquarie University in 2001 and has also obtained a masters specialising in construction law from the University of Melbourne.
According to a statement released by HHG Legal, Mr Morris’ promotion better reflects the responsibility of his current workload.
“This title more accurately reflects the amount of court work, as well as specialist work in construction law and commercial litigation, that Daniel is involved in,” HHG Legal said.
Firm directors Murray Thornhill and Simon Creek described Mr Morris’ promotion as “well-earned and one that reflects [his] ongoing hard work, diligence and contribution to HHG”.
