Award-winning firm announces new promotions

Award-winning firm announces new promotions

Anita Filleti

The recipient of the Insurance Team of the Year award at Lawyers Weekly’s 2016 Australian Law Awards has made two key promotions.

Gilchrist Connell has announced it has promoted two associates to senior associates within its Adelaide office.

Both Anita Filleti (pictured left) and Rachel Teh (pictured right) have been appointed to the senior ranks, effective immediately. Each have been with the firm since they were admitted to practice law in 2009.

Ms Filleti and Ms Teh both work across a broad range of matters concerning professional indemnity, casualty and compulsory third party (CTP) claims. In addition, Ms Filleti also has experience in employment practices liability claims.

Gilchrist Connell managing principal Richard Wood congratulated Ms Filleti and Ms Teh on their recent promotions.

“It’s a great perk of my job to help support the careers of highly talented individuals like Anita and Rachel,” Mr Wood said.

“Their promotions are fully deserved, and I look forward to their continued achievements and success with us.”

These latest promotions follow Gilchrist Connell’s announcement that Joel Zyngier had been appointed principal in the firm’s Melbourne office.
