Bell has considerable experience in the industrial and commercial property industry, advising on the environmental aspects of property acquisitions and disposals, major development projects, construction financing, management of property portfolios and leasing. His clients include government agencies, large corporations, landowners and developers.
He also serves on the state committee of the Waste Management Association of Australia and in a member of the environmental committees for both the South Australian Wine Industry Association and the South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy.
He will be based in the firm’s Adelaide office as part of its property and development group, but he will be spending a considerable amount of his time in Sydney.
Speaking of recent trends in Bell’s areas of practice, the firm’s chief executive Brett Goodridge said: “With environmental and planning issues high on the business and community agenda and the enormous changes being experienced in the energy sector, we see demand only increasing for specialist legal services in these areas. Our firm continues to grow nationally in line with the evolving legal requirements of our clients.”
