Fiona Steffensen is a new senior associate in the dispute resolution division.

“Since joining the firm in 2002, I have been fortunate to work with high-profile clients on a range of interesting and challenging matters including large and complex audit negligence litigation, several corporate restructures and amalgamations effected by schemes of arrangement, and various insolvency matters,” Steffensen said.

“I am pleased to be promoted to senior associate and look forward to working even more closely with our clients.”

Two of the new associates, Erin Rice and Sally Williams, will also practise in the dispute resolution team.

“I have particularly appreciated the ongoing mentoring and support provided by my colleagues at Kelly & Co,” Rice said. “The variety and quality of legal work is excellent and has provided me with a fantastic foundation for my career.”

Williams said she valued being part of a growing practice group in which she could develop her advocacy and advisory skills.

“Acting for a diverse range of clients in the insolvency and debt recovery area enables me to work with a variety of different people and across a range of varying matters. I look forward to continuing to work in this friendly, energetic and professional environment,” Williams said.

The third new associate is Julie Organ, who is to work in the firm’s corporate and commercial team.
