Nicolson joins the firm from Corrs Chambers Westgarth, where she practiced as a partner for nine years in the firm's IP, competition and technology group. She also has eight years experienced gained in the UK, where she worked at Bird & Bird as a partner.

Nicolson specialises in both contentious and non-contentious work relating to trade marks, anti-counterfeiting, copyright, confidential information, comparative advertising, passing off and the Trade Practices Act 1974. She also has significant experience acting on behalf of clients before the Federal Court and the Trade Marks office.

Her clients span a broad range of industries, including telecommunications, food and beverage, retail, fashion and footwear, media communications, automotive and financial services.
