The former Mallesons Stephen Jaques lawyer and Telstra in-house counsel will lead the firm's telecommunications and regulatory practice which is facing increasing client demand due to Federal Government reforms.

His appointment follows that of former long term Mallesons partner Michael McCafferty who joined the firm in April this year.

Since the start of 2010, McCullough Robertson has appointed two new partners and created 25 new positions demonstrating the firm's growth across its operations in Brisbane, Newcastle and Sydney.
