With 22 years of experience specialising exclusively in insurance law, Hickie joins the firm from Lander & Rogers where she was a partner and head of the firm's workers compensation practice. Prior to Lander & Rogers, Hickie was an in-house lawyer at HIH for seven years.

For over 10 years, Moroney has held various independent appointments, including advising government on policy and legislative reform, and has represented lawyers and their clients' interests in several inquires and policy debates. Most recently, Moroney ran his own insurance practice, Moroney Lawyers.

Moroney, who approached Moray & Agnew, brings with him extensive experience advising Australia's major insurers in common law, workers compensation, public and products liability and construction and engineering liability matters.
