PwC nabs another KWM lawyer

PwC Legal’s newest partner has come from King & Wood Mallesons, joining ex-KWM managing partners Tony O’Malley and Tim Blue.

Natalie Kurdian was a senior associate at KWM for more than nine years. She steps up to a partner role at PwC Legal.

Kurdian’s expertise lies in cross-border and domestic M&A and transactional funds work, particularly in the real estate and infrastructure sectors.

Her appointment comes three months after Lawyers Weekly exclusively revealed that LCR Advisory, a corporate advisory boutique owned by former KWM managing partners Tony O’Malley and Tim Blue (pictured right to left), had been acquired by PwC.

O’Malley, who is now PwC’s Australian and Asia Pacific legal services leader, said he was “thrilled” that Kurdian had joined the team.

This week, Lawyers Weekly also broke the news that KWM had appointed the former head of Henry Davis York, Sharon Cook, as managing partner, clients. She will assume the role in February 2015.
