Recently I finalised a case, I represented a client charged with dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm. She was a professional accountant. The victim was paralysed I requested for references, a psychological report and information on driving courses to support the case. In my submission to the court I noted that according to the Institute of Public Affairs approximately 46 percent of the prison population in Australia are currently incarcerated for non-violent offences. I encouraged the magistrate to use her discretion in sentencing as the offender was non-violent, professional and I was proposing that an alternative punishment to incarceration would better serve the interests of justice and encourage rehabilitation. My client received a suspended sentence, which allowed her to remain employed in her chosen profession. I gave it my all. I worked hard and received the best outcome for my client. My client chose me as a barrister to represent her in Perth. I flew over a number of times to finalise the case and obtain the best outcome I could and I did. My client was very impressed with the outcome of the case.

If you want to achieve greatness you must work hard for it!
