Pro Bono Program of the Year

The legal profession has long supported the wider community through pro bono work, demonstrating a commitment to ensuring all members of society have access to legal representation. This award recognises firms and legal departments that have demonstrated a commitment to the community over FY2015 - 16 via at least one significant pro bono initiative. It is open to all law firms and in-house teams.

Assessment Criteria:

Nominees will be judged on their responses to the following:

  • Detail the strategy behind a particular pro bono program, including goals and implementation.

  • What has been the social impact of the program? Include the number of pro bono hours contributed and any other measurable outcomes.

  • How does the firm promote a strong pro bono culture?
