TESTIMONIALS

The legal industry needs more recognition for Diversity, Equality and Inclusion efforts, and so it was fantastic to see Lawyers Weekly host and promote the Champions of Pride awards.

Ellen Connor, LOD

The inaugural Lawyers Weekly Champions of Pride 2021 awards demonstrates the importance of continuing to highlight the work that firms are doing for LGBT+ inclusion and allows us all to learn from our peers about the great initiatives promoting diversity within the profession.

Ben Allen, Dentons

Parker Coles Curtis were delighted and honoured to be amongst such a progressive crowd of people at such a colourful and important inaugural event. We are looking forward to hearing more stories from more law firms that are pushing the limits and disrupting the traditional. Workplaces can only profit from all employees feeling comfortable bringing their whole selves to work each day.

Catherine Coles, Parker Coles Curtis

The Lawyer’s Weekly Champions of Pride event yesterday was amazing – a celebration of rainbow, diversity, inclusion and fabulousness! Former justice of the High Court of Australia, The Honourable Michael Kirby AC CMG, delivered the keynote address, he was firm in his message that the law and the profession must continue to move towards inclusion and celebration of diversity, so that everyone could bring their whole selves to work. Bob Downe (Master of Ceremonies) and Prada Clutch (Opening Act) were both so amazing and kept me laughing, singing, crying and cheering for the whole event.
