This award recognises the travel, tourism and hospitality lawyer who has most effectively capitalised on market opportunities and driven demonstrable business growth within their organisation.
It includes in-house lawyers who work in all types of travel, tourism and hospitality organisations, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, tourist attractions and experiences, travel agencies and booking services. This also includes importers and wholesale suppliers within the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.
It is open to all in-house lawyers who have been employed by a travel, tourism and hospitality organisation that has been trading for at least two full financial years and is registered in Australia as a sole trader, a partnership, or an incorporated or listed business.
To be eligible for this award, the lawyer must demonstrate work completed for the organisation in the 12 months from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.
