Firms: Norton Rose Australia (AMP Capital) Freehills (CBA and Lend Lease)

Deal: AMP Capital has completed the acquisition of the South Australian Schools’ Public Private Partnership (PPP) project on behalf of a number of its funds and clients, including AMP Capital's Community Infrastructure Fund and Core Infrastructure Fund

Area: Corporate

Value: $232 million

Key players: The NRA team was led by partner Adrian Ahern and senior associate Nigel Deed in Sydney. NRA partner Petar Kuessnar worked alongside Adrian and Nigel on the financing aspects of the transaction. They were assisted by Rahil Patel, Roy Siciliano and Marie Youssef. The Freehills lead partner was Josh Sgro.

Deal significance: The project includes six newly constructed schools in Adelaide, including primary, middle, secondary, special education schools and childcare centres, and has an enterprise value of $232 million.
