Key players: Bakers advised Toga Hospitality on the terms of the development deed under which the serviced apartment hotel is to be constructed and the hotel management agreement under which the hotel will be managed. David Jones and Sebastian Busa led the Bakers team

Deal significance: Toga Hospitality manages some 52 hotels across Australia, New Zealand and Europe under the recognised brands of Adina Apartment Hotels, Medina Apartment Hotels, Vibe Hotels and Travelodge Hotels. The transaction represents an expansion of the Adina brand in the Australian market. It is expected that the track-front hotel with contemporary design will commence construction this year.
