The firm advised AMP Capital on all aspects of the purchase.

Freehills acted for CBA and Lend Lease on the deal.

The project included six newly constructed schools in Adelaide, ranging from primary, middle, secondary, special education schools and child care centres and has an enterprise value of A$232 million.

The acquisition gives AMP Capital managed funds and client's access to a high quality PPP asset providing availability-based revenue backed by the AAA rated South Australian Government.

The Norton Rose team was led by partner Adrian Ahern, and senior associate Nigel Deed in Sydney. Petar Kuessnar, partner, worked alongside Ahern and Deed on the financing aspects of the transaction. They were assisted by Rahil Patel, Roy Siciliano and Marie Youssef.
