Deal significance: The consortium, which includes Plenary Group, Grocon Construction, PCL Constructors Inc and Honeywell International, will construct a purpose built facility for cancer research, treatment and care in the bio-medical Parkville precinct in Melbourne. The project will provide 160 overnight in-patient beds, a 42-bed capacity intensive care unit, 110 same-day treatment places, eight radiation therapy bunkers, and enough research space for up to 1,200 medical researchers.
