Two advised on $145m listing of shares fund
One firm has advised two companies in the listing of the Forager Australian Shares Fund.

Deal: Forager Funds Management has listed the Forager Australian Shares Fund on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
MinterEllison assisted Forager through two unit-holder meetings, a change of responsible entity from fund host to Perpetual, the restructuring of the fund into a listed investment trust structure and the listing of the fund on ASX.
Value: $145 million

Key players: The MinterEllison team was led by partner Stuart Johnson, with assistance from special counsel Ker Wei Tiam, senior associate Tze Ting Liew and lawyer Pooja Anantha.
Deal significance: The Forager Australian Shares Fund commenced trading on Friday, 16 December 2016.
