A New York City judge has been unceremoniously fired and fined $5500 after accepting popcorn bribes from a snack food delivery driver with too many parking tickets, reports the New York Post.
Justice Alan Rubin, an administrative law judge in NYC's finance department, had apparently accepted six to eight bags of free popcorn from a food-delivery driver whose tickets he had dismissed.
Apparently, Rubin was caught out when he brought some of his salty-licious gifts into the office to share with colleagues and was swiftly dobbed in.
