Queensland firm Trilby Misso has appointed a gorgeous new addition to the team.

With his soft ears, shiny coat and wet nose, the seven-week-old Labrador puppy is now arguably the firm's best-looking member of staff.

The puppy - who at present remains nameless - is being sponsored by Trilby Misso as part of the firm's Community Spirit Program, and the puppy will shortly commence training under Vision Australia's Seeing Eye Dog program.

Staff members have been asked to come up with a name for the tiny fluff ball, and Trilby Misso CEO Graeme McFadyen said a range of names for the male puppy has been suggested, including Casper, Charlie, Henry, Rory, Bliss and Harvey.

"Staff have suggested Seiki, for watch dog, Titan because he's the God of Light and one person even proposed the name Trilby after our founder, the late Trilby Misso," said McFadyen.

The puppy's chosen name will be announced at a ceremony, to be held at Trilby Misso's Brisbane CBD head office, on August 19.

The pooch - which Folklaw proposes be named Goggles or Wilbur - will soon undergo an intensive training program, under the guidance of a carer, before eventually being placed with a visually impaired person.

"We are his sponsors and we'll continue to follow his progress over the years and we hope our staff will feel that he is their puppy," McFadyen said.

Folklaw rates this little fella as a firm ten-out-of-ten in the chick magnet stakes, so has a sneaking suspicion staff members will most certainly be calling him their own.
