Our client is a boutique law firm, conveniently located in the Melbourne CBD, specialising in the building and construction industry.  

This role will see you working closely with highly experienced Partner(s)/colleagues.  You will be given autonomy to manage small matters (with the guidance of a Partner) and play a team role in large complex matters.

Focusing on Building and Construction Litigation our client is open to considering candidates at around Associate/Snr. Assoc. level (i.e. 5+ yrs p.a.e.) with solid expertise in Building and Construction Disputes gained within a recognised team of similar law practice. Candidates with a background in commercial litigation with a genuine interest in building and construction law will also be considered.

Working closely with the highly experienced team, you will continue to develop your expertise with access to strong mentors & career growth opportunities whilst handling broad-ranging matters that may include litigation involving: developers; construction corporations; contractors, for both private and public high quality clients.

To be successful in this role:-
  • 5 years' experience with an unrestricted Practising Certificate
  • A strong construction background.
  • Able to operate with initiative.
  • Able to manage small matters (under guidance of a Partner) whilst playing a team role in large complex matters.
  • Proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Able to communicate with high level client management, demonstrating a strong understanding of the client's business and managing/meeting client's expectations;
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities by contributing ideas in a way that inspires others.
