The opportunity: Take your career in-house with this Australian based technology company and work closely with the General Counsel and across the business as the company continues its impressive growth.
About the role: The role will see you report to an impressive and very experienced General Counsel who will be able to mentor you both in the law and the commercial realities of life in-house. Your day to day role will have a heavy contracts focus and see you negotiating, reviewing and drafting a variety of sales contracts, new product agreements, tenders and third party supplier contracts. In addition to the heavy contract focus, you will advise on legal issues as they arise across the business including employment law, leasing, IP and trademarks, trade practices and corporate advisory. While you will work across the business, key stakeholders will include the sales and product development teams.
About you: To be considered for this role you will have an unrestricted practicing certificate with 3-6 years' post admission experience and a background in general commercial, corporate or IT/IP law. You will be commercially savvy, with a strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in IT and technology. You will be confident in building strong relationships across the business and in confidently making decisions when called on.
