  • The State Solicitor's Office has a unique opportunity for someone to join our team as a Knowledge Manager.
  • Are you looking to take a break from the demands of a busy law office and constant client contact, but don't want to step away from the law?
  • Do you have an interest in improving the efficiency of an established and highly regarded legal practice?

This newly created position will be responsible for developing the necessary knowledge infrastructure, culture and behaviours at the State Solicitor's Office  to enable the provision of high quality and contemporary legal services.

Some of the initial projects you will be managing include the development and implementation of:

  • A precedent management system;
  • A comprehensive practice guide; and
  • The Office's learning and development program.

These projects will require you to work closely with our legal practice groups and corporate staff.

To be suitable for this role you must have a minimum of five (5) years post admission experience, along with experience in precedent development and/or developing or improving knowledge creation processes and systems.

You will also need to possess high level project management skills.

It is not a requirement of this role to be admitted as a practitioner in Western Australia, and those with experience in overseas jurisdictions are also encouraged to apply.
