Group Company Secretary based in Brisbane. 6 month contract. Brand New Role

This oil & gas company based in Brisbane are seeking an experienced Company Secretary to act in a Group Company Secretarial Role supporting their General Counsel and other key legal stakeholders.

Working closely with the legal team this role will report to board level and will involve managing the Board and relevant Committees, drafting Board papers & resolutions, taking minutes, ASX and ASIC compliance, organising AGM, dealing with high volume information requests, actioning follow up items, provision of communication interference as well as maintaining statutory and other corporate registers.

This is a brand new position and as such it is mandatory that this individual be able to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders successfully as well as demonstrate executive capabilities in your function.

A background as a Company Secretary or Legal Counsel with Company Secretarial duties is required. An ASX background with strong corporate governance or company administration skills will be considered desirable.
If you have experience working in the oil and gas industry this would be of great interest .

This is a large and involved role and as such a legal knowledge and understanding is recommended, although candidates with strong business or finance backgrounds with relevant industry knowledge may also be considered.
