This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Property Lawyer looking to consolidate their career and be part of a highly regarded and well established local law firm in Werribee.
As a talented Property Lawyer, this role will allow you to service & manage clients autonomously, assisting them with a variety of Property matters in this busy local legal practice.

You'll be a key player of the firm where you will provide pragmatic & timely advice and be able to provide guidance to those less experienced and take an active role in external business development. Typically your responsibilities may include:
  • Drafting of a range of documentation and correspondence, eg. conveyancing, sale/purchase, subdivisions, leasing documentation and associated letters of advice;
  • General advice, including general property advice, advice on property related tax issues; contract and legislative interpretation as required;
  • Business development, including managing relationships with clients, promoting the profile of the firm's property services;
  • General, including liaising with other professionals/clients/colleagues, reviewing documentation and reports, liaising with Councils, banks, financial institutions and planning bodies and advising on Owners Corporation matters.
Ideally the successful candidate will have a broad general knowledge of all aspects of property law (min 5 years PAE), plus:
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with excellent attention to detail;
  • Well developed organisational/time management skills to manage competing priorities;
  • A proactive & positive, client service focussed approach and
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
