Leading a practice that once again increased its pro bono hours to an incredible 68.3 hours per full-time earner by assisting over 200 low income Victorians. Of that work, I am particularly proud of our assistance to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in over 60 eviction prevention and infringement matters. This work formed the basis of a research project for Justice Connect looking at the unmet legal and non-legal needs of prisoners post-release to assist them to develop a best practice model to meet housing, health, access to social security, employment, education and rehabilitation needs.
