THE Australian legal profession will now have access to a newly launched dedicated jobs network on The New Lawyer site.

Reed Business Information (RBI), the largest business to business publisher in Australia and New Zealand, and publisher of The New Lawyer, has launched the jobs network as a more accessible and targeted job search alternative for the profession.

Candidates can now access a clear selection of positions from some of Australia's top law firms and corporations. The dominantly Australian audience of The New Lawyer will also help eliminate applications from multiple overseas candidates who may not have the relevant work rights.

RBI said it is aiming to fulfil the need in Australia for a jobs network that appeals to a refined pool of candidates. The jobs network will leverage The New Lawyer's 22,000 unique visitors per month.

According to Ben Sole, COO of RBI, a jobs network on a website dedicated to the profession and legal industry will drastically shave time off the recruitment process, as hiring managers will no longer have to filter through irrelevant applications.

Sole said the jobs network will be price-competitive for advertisers, compared to others in the market, and will offer three candidate access channels in the form of a website listing, job mail and the bi-weekly newsletter.
