Organised by Triathlon ACT, the event is aimed at providing a social, fun fitness activity for teams from government and business organisations. The event is also designed to foster team building, with participating employees benefiting from increased fitness, stronger working relationships, higher productivity and reduced stress levels.

As with previous years, teams of three can choose to participate in either the short course (200-metre swim, 7.5km cycle, 2km run)or long course(400-metre swim, 15km cycle, 4km run), with each team member completing a leg of the course. But new this year for the very keen is the “full challenge” where all three team members complete all three legs.

Trophies will be awarded for the winning teams, and there will be prizes for the best team uniform and the best cheer squad. Kids will also be kept entertained with a jumping castle, face painting and novelty races.
