I graduated from Flinders University of South Australia in mid-2004 with a bachelor’s degree in law and commerce (finance major). I then worked at one of the major banks in property and construction finance for about eight months before I clerked at Corrs in its banking and finance group, where I settled permanently. To date, I’ve worked mainly in the area of project finance, and predominately in relation to public-private partnerships. I’ve now seen a few PPPs through to completion, including the Melbourne Convention Centre Development and the Bonnyrigg Living Communities Project. The latter required me to assist with drafting the facility agreements and the finance tripartite deeds, drafting the security documentation and managing the debt conditions precedent. Later this year, I will be taking a two-year leave of absence to travel and then to work at a magic circle firm in London, before returning to Corrs.
