HERBERT GEER has strengthened its construction and infrastructure capability following the appointment of the three partners — Doron Rivlin, Paul Deschamps and Chris Kelly — from boutique Sydney construction firm Rivlin Deschamps Kelly (RDK).

Rivlin has particular expertise in tender and contract preparation and dispute resolution. He has extensive experience in the adjudication process under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payments legislation action for parties and as an adjudicator. He has been involved in a diverse range of contentious and non-contentious matters, acting for a range of clients including government, developers, contractors, professional consultants and private clients.

Deschamps has specialised in construction work for more than 12 years. He has acted in both contentious and non-contentious matters, including on a number of high-profile construction projects such as airport infrastructure, railway infrastructure, recycling facilities and commercial and residential developments.

Kelly specialises in public-private partnerships, and his clients include major multinational corporates as well as PPP concessionaries and owners and operators of major infrastructure. He drafts and advises on all forms on construction and project-related documentation.
