British Airways (BA) general counsel Robert Webb is stepping down from his post after 10 years in the position, legalweek.com has reported.

Webb has had high-profile tenure at BA, most recently representing the company in its ongoing price-fixing dispute. He is also currently a non executive director of the BBC and the London Stock Exchange and he now intends to extend his non-executive roles.

His position at BA will pass to Maria Da Cunha, who has been the airline's head of legal for the past seven years.
