Whiskers, bristles and handbar moustaches of all shapes and sizes emerged among the legal fraternity in November as lawyers grew their best for the annual Movember charity event.

The chaps at Swaab Attorneys raised $4,240 towards research and awareness of men's health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.

Meanwhile, at Allens Arthur Robinson's Melbourne office (pictured below), legal eagles staged 'Operation MOverlord', a World War Two-themed campaign, raising more than $30,000 for the charity, and making Allens one of the top six fundraisers for the annual event.

Allens' Melbourne Practice Director Paul Quinn stated the secret to the firm's successful fundraising was careful planning in the early stages of the November.

"This was a covert fundraising campaign," Quinn admitted, "So secret that no one actually realised I was growing a moustache until about 28 days into the month.'
