The free 'Litigation Tables' app, launched by forensic accounting experts Vincents Chartered Accountants, provides easy access to data used in economic loss calculations, including three and five per cent discount tables for the ACT, 10-year treasury bond rates, after-tax weekly income, average weekly earnings, deferred tables, prospective life tables, tax rates, injury scale values for Queensland and a consumer price index for New South Wales.
According to Vincents director Michael Lee, the iPhone app is an Australian first and will be available for use in Queensland, NSW and the ACT.
"Our litigation tables have always been popular so it was a logical step to increase accessibility with new formats such as the iPhone," Lee said.
The app will feature regular updates and the inclusion of a tax calculator for converting gross weekly income into the after tax figure.
