Mallesons Stephen Jaques partner Nicola Wakefield-Evans has been named one of Australia's top 50 leading women in business at the Advance Women's Leadership Summit this week.

The only lawyer recognised, Wakefield-Evans was among 200 women who attended the summit which highlighted the achievements of the 50 current and emerging leaders in Australia, coinciding with International Women's Day.

"I am delighted to have been recognised among such an inspiring and talented group of leading Australia women, Wakefield-Evans said. "I am particularly proud to represent female lawyers and I hope I can inspire others into leadership roles."
